When you want a story with depth, action that is sparse but never repetitive, relationships more believable than your spouse, intelligent dialogue that makes more sense than college textbooks, and subject matter that contradicts everything you stand for in your pathetic little life, then Quentin Tarantino is the way to go.

#65 — A Fish Called Wanda (1988) ★★★☆☆

That was fun. I love robbing the English. They’re so polite.

Otto: You pompous, stuck-up, snot-nosed, English, giant, twerp, scumbag, fuck-face, dickhead, asshole.

Archie: How very interesting. You’re a true vulgarian, aren’t you?

Crazy, Stupid, Love (2011)

I loved this, just the right balance of drama and humor to make this a great rom-com/chick-flick in my book, it wasn’t sappy or cheesy. The characters likable and relatable, the soundtrack awesome and seriously how beautiful are Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone. Thoroughly enjoyable. I’m keeping hold of this till the weekend as the parents want to see it too, so I’ll be watching this again. Will eventually be buying this on DVD. Instant favourite.

Horrible Bosses (2011)

I really enjoyed this in the end, it took a while to get going and really anyone could have played ‘the bosses’ (I think it’s common knowledge I don’t like Jennifer Aniston), but Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day together on screen were awesome, laughed out loud quite a few times. Would happily watch this again for a giggle. If you like Hangover, Bridesmaids etc… you’ll enjoy this.
